What makes one Recruiter different from other Recruiters?

Here's a question that everyone asks but how do you know the answer is acceptable?

Easy.....the only answer is how comfortable you feel after you finish talking to the Recruiter. Does the recruiter have experience in the "real working world?" Or is the Recruiter a new College Grad that is trying to make big bucks trying Recruiting as a first job?

Do you want someone who has interviewed, hired, staffed, led, managed and experienced the people problems on a daily basis and has learned from years of daily successes and failures? Or someone who thinks they understand?

I know which Recruiter I want to work with, do you?

You have to ask yourself during and after the discussion with the Recruiter, has the Recruiter made you feel confident that he or she has the "experience" to understand what you need and the ability to go out and find that top talent to "fit into" and "perform" within your organization?

When you ask a Recruiter what makes You different from other Recruiters? He or she should tell you the difference is ME! Then, the Recruiter should be able to tell you why.

One more thing. No one ever said that finding great people can't be an enjoyable and fun process! Don't waste your time working with arrogant, pushy, know-it-all Recruiters. A Recruiter with passion knows they have a great job.....helping great companies find great people.....a true win-win!
